Pray for Ourselves: (Psalm 1:2 & Psalm 119:15-16) “…but whose delight is in the law of the Lord, and who meditates on his law day and night.”  “I meditate on your precepts and consider your ways. I delight in your decrees; I will not neglect your word.Pray that God would give you a deep commitment to His Word. That you would be daily in the Bible and that you would begin to practice memorizing God’s Word. (Start by memorizing these two passages by putting them on 3×5 cards or in your Smart Phone App and working on them throughout the day.) Learn to pray the Scriptures by starting with some of Paul’s prayers in his Epistles.

Pray for our Valley: Pray for the truly poor in our Valley. Pray for the Restart Center on Menlo & State. Pray for the Community Pantry. Pray for the churches to help train those who don’t know how to handle money with Biblical classes in financing and budgeting.  Pray for jobs for the people who are looking for them and finding it hard to secure one.

Pray for our nation: (Micah 6:8) “He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”  Pray for justice to be done from the grass roots to the Supreme Court. Pray for cases that will up hold our freedoms here in America and not allow unscrupulous men and women from taking the freedoms that we hold so dear away from us. Pray for those ministries that are up holding the rights of Christians.

 Pray for our world: Pray for Christians, missions and churches to “give a cup of water in Jesus name” to poor peoples around the world. Pray for the work of giving out water purification systems and the establishment of wells for those who have big water challenges. Pray for better farming and animal husbandry projects and for the Veterinarians/Farm Specialists who spearhead them.
