I’ve been following a guy named Phil Cooke on Instagram for several months now. He’s a Christian in the media/entertainment business and he has a knack for making me smile. Sometimes his posts are inspiring, others are thought-provoking and many times just plain funny. Here’s one that got me thinking…

Several years ago, before every phone was also a camera, someone in our office fell through a chair while trying to put something in a cupboard that was just out of reach. Instead of running to their rescue, I literally jumped over them to get a camera that was just a few feet away. (I knew they weren’t seriously hurt, otherwise I might have stopped to help. might.)

I might be as guilty as the next person for trying to capture moments rather than make the most of them. So…let’s get out there and help some people, whether it becomes of photo-op or not.
