Are you feeling the heat?

I’m not talking about the temperature outside. We’re continuing the idea of never giving up when life throws it’s storms our way. We talked Monday about looking forward to the reward on the other side.
In 2 Corinthians Paul talks about that reward here as well. He also talks about the power of perspective. Read these verses, then ask yourself: What is God doing inside me as everything is raging around me? How can He use this storm to grow me and prepare me for what lies ahead?
We typically ask WHY…but we need to ask WHAT!
“So we’re not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace. These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us. There’s far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can’t see now will last forever.” (2 Corinthians 4:16-18 MSG)
