Baptism (part 3)

We got the party started last night, but we’re not done! This Sunday we’ll give people the opportunity to get baptized in all of our Sunday services as well.

If you’ve been thinking about this huge step, let me encourage you with this powerful picture of our baptism in Romans 6. Here, we’re reminded when we’re baptized we are literally starting a NEW LIFE in JESUS!

“Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.”  (Romans 6:3-4 NIV)
