Do you feel like this?

When you grab your Bible does it feel like a chore or are you genuinely excited to open its pages?

No one wants to admit it feels like a chore, but if we’re honest that’s probably part of the reason we don’t read it like we want to. We know we “should” but, it’s just more exciting to scroll through social media, watch a show or read a novel.

What if we flipped the script by looking at it all differently? What if we truly anticipated what we’d find as we opened God’s Word today???

I can’t speak for everyone, but I want to get to the place Jeremiah was at as he described hearing from the Lord.

“Your words were found, and I ate them, and your words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart, for I am called by your name, O Lord, God of hosts.” (Jeremiah 15:16 ESV)
