Heart and Mouth are Connected

In my daily reading yesterday I came across this verse in Luke 6. No doubt it explains so much. The bottom line is simple: What I put in my heart is going to make its way out of my mouth.

You don’t like the way you’ve been talking to people? You want to be more encouraging? You want to help those you love, not hurt them, with your words?

You start with the heart. What are you filling your heart with???

“A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.” (Luke 6:45 NLT)
