How do we do battle with this one?

It was great to have Josh Phillips back with us this past weekend. He continued our journey through the book of James. While the bigger picture of this section covers 12 verses, Josh was able to help us focus on the primary issue: PRIDE.

Pride really is at the core of so many of our issues…so many of our sins. Pride pushes God aside, even when we “act” like a Christian. Pride drives others away. Pride denies our true NEED of a SAVIOR!

What was your personal take-a-way? I personally loved the idea of not just reading the Bible, but letting it reveal our own issues. The way Josh said it was, “Don’t just read the Word, let the Word read you.”
