It’s our day to celebrate…and ?

Today, July 4th is our day to celebrate our independence. It is also our call to pray!

In the midst of your celebrations and fun, please take the time to pray for our Nation. There is so much good here…and so much more that needs to be done.

I am truly grateful for the freedoms we enjoy. I also know the importance of prayer when it comes to any nation. Read these verse, then spend some time in prayer for our Nation.

“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. ” (1 Timothy 2:1-4 NIV)
