Who you got?

Back in the day, when I used to play a lot of basketball, a phrase you’d hear from time to time on the court was this, “WHO YOU GOT?” While it could be a part of picking teams before you started running, I remember it most during a game when you’re checking with a teammate about who they’re guarding.
Today I’m not meaning that phrase (WHO YOU GOT) as a term of defense, but for those of us in the church who are on the offense. We’re taking the Good News to our Valley. So…WHO YOU GOT!?!?
Who’s on your TOP FIVE list? Who are you praying for? Who are you spending time with? Who are you inviting to join you at a weekend service? WHO YOU GOT?
When we add someone to our list, one of the first things we’ve got to do is develop some common ground with them. It may be our work, our hobbies, our love of sports, our neighborhood, our pain, our background……. It goes on and on, but developing a relationship is the key to then letting Jesus shine through you.
So…WHO YOU GOT?
“When I am with those who are weak, I share their weakness, for I want to bring the weak to Christ. Yes, I try to find common ground with everyone, doing everything I can to save some.” (1 Corinthians 9:22 NLT)
