Who’s in your corner?

Who’s in your corner?

When the Hebrew writer mentions a “great cloud of witnesses” I know he’s referring to chapter 11 and the people of amazing, strong, persistent faith who have led the way.

While people like my mom and dad come to mind, people like Jeremy Thompsen and so many others have led the way, I wonder who is cheering you on right now? Who seems to give you a call out of nowhere? Who seems to show up when you most need them?

One more question. WHO NEEDS YOU RIGHT NOW?

Stop what you’re doing and give them a call, go see them or at least use a text to let them know you’re praying for them.

I do hope you have people in your corner. I also want to make sure you’re in someone else’s corner!

“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.” (Hebrews 12:1-3 NIV)
