It’s time to make a difference… 21 Days of Prayer!

“Here’s another way to put it: You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don’t think I’m going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I’m putting you on a light stand. Now that I’ve put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand—shine! Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you’ll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in heaven.”  (Matthew 5:14-16 MSG)

Following Jesus into an adventure-filled life is going to require much from us. Bringing light to a dark world isn’t easy, and we sure don’t want to do that in our own power or ability. The next 21 Days will push you to be truly ALL IN.

Each day I’ll be giving you Scripture to chew on and a “prayer prompt” to get you started. Carve out some time so you can really pray…really surrender…really go ALL IN.

Day one: Read Matthew 5:14-16 (shown above) and then start our first day of prayer with something like this:

Prayer Prompt: Dear Father, I don’t want to be ineffective. I don’t want to be mediocre. I want to make a difference. I want to reflect your light in this dark world. Please make a difference in me so you can make a difference through me!
