I want to thank all of you who passed on your “Happy Birthdays” to me through social media and texts. Yes, I celebrated another trip around the sun earlier this week. In honor of this momentous occasion, my family completely surprised me with with a glider plane experience. It was so awesome!

Once we detached from the pull plane at 4,000 feet we actually went up because of the wind current. We made it to 11,900 feet at our peak and just simply enjoyed the ride for about 45 minutes. The views were spectacular!

A big thanks to Michelle, Sam and Craig for making it happen. Also, a huge thank you to my friend Paul Smith, a Wycliff Bible Translator pilot for well over 20 years, who was my pilot and guide.
