Anchor in the Storm

Anchor in the Storm

A ship can be seriously tossed by the waves during a storm, but that doesn’t mean it’s in danger. While you can see it move up and down and back and forth, it doesn’t go anywhere because it has a solid anchor.

No doubt many have felt the storm during this strange year of ours. You’ve been up and down, and been tossed around, but you’re still here. The one thing that keeps all of us anchored in the craziness is the HOPE we have in Jesus.

This next weekend at Community, we’re starting a new series called 2020 Vision. Week one will be taking a deeper look at this idea of hope. Please join in in prayer that those who need it most will join us on Thursday night, Sunday morning or online!

“We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.” (Hebrews 6:19a NIV)
