Could He talk about it more?

It actually surprises me just how often Jesus talks about money and our material possessions. It’s like He KNOWS US or something!

One theme repeated over and over in Jesus’ teaching about money is, while it’s ok to have stuff, it’s not ok for our stuff to HAVE US. Keep that in mind as you read what Jesus said in Matthew 6.

“Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be. … No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money.” (Matthew 6:21, 24 NLT)
