Courageously Wait

When uncertainty makes its way into our lives we tend to freeze for fear of not know what to do, or we plow ahead at a relentless pace even though we’re not sure what we’re doing. Sound familiar?

There’s a better way. We can gain our confidence not because of our ability or knowledge, although that can help, but rather by looking to the ONE who holds the whole world in His hands. (You can now hum that song as you finish reading this blog.)

Seriously, waiting is a difficult thing to do. But waiting doesn’t necessarily mean we do nothing. It could simply mean we wait for God to lead and FOLLOW NOW with what we know He wants. Being brave and courageous happens because we know our King is still in charge, no matter how crazy the world looks right now.

“Yet I am confident I will see the Lord’s goodness while I am here in the land of the living. Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.” (Psalm 27:13-14 NLT)
