Every tribe, nation, people and language!

Every tribe, nation, people and language!

“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is, what are you doing for others?” — Martin Luther King Jr.

On this day we are reminded of Martin Luther King Jr. and his efforts in the civil rights movement. I love that we come together each and every weekend; people of every color, age and background to worship our one Lord together!

“Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.” — Martin Luther King Jr.

I pray that our church will continue to be a leader in our diverse Valley. We can do that in a number of ways, but never underestimate the power of simply welcoming and including all kinds of people who are seeking to connect with our Creator. After all, for all of eternity we’ll be worshipping Him TOGETHER!

“After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. And they cried out in a loud voice: ‘Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.’” (Revelation 7:9-10)
