The First Gleam of Dawn

During our overly HOT week a few days back I found myself on my bike before sunrise just so I could get a climb in before the temperature hit 1000. While out, the sun would come up and it was spectacular. So, one morning I packed my camera and headed for the hills, and I’m so glad I did.

After looking at God’s Word for some inspiration regarding the sunrise I came across this interesting twist:

“The way of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, which shines ever brighter until the full light of day.” (Proverbs 4:18 NLT)

You see, as picturesque as dawn’s first light is how we can look when we let God shine through us. The “righteous” or those “right with God” tend to reflect the One who is Light.
