When God doesn’t seem to be in a hurry

No, this is not a reminder for TIME CHANGE weekend. That’s in a few weeks. This is, however, about time. 

There is no small sample of God’s perfect timing throughout the Bible. However, we tend to get frustrated and impatient with the One who knows best. So, as a reminder, let these truths soak in.

“When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners.” (Romans 5:6 NLT)

“For God says, ‘At just the right time, I heard you. On the day of salvation, I helped you.’ Indeed, the ‘right time’ is now. Today is the day of salvation.” (2 Corinthians 6:2 NLT)

“He gave his life to purchase freedom for everyone. This is the message God gave to the world at just the right time.” (1 Timothy 2:6 NLT)

“But when the right time came, God sent his Son, born of a woman, subject to the law.” (Galatians 4:4 NLT)

“So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God, and at the right time he will lift you up in honor.” (1 Peter 5:6 NLT)

I don’t know what you’re going through, but I know that God has not left you, deserted you or given up on you. He’s still at work. So, hang in there. Keep doing the RIGHT THINGS and let the timing of God’s blessing come when the time is just right.

“So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.” (Galatians 6:9 NLT)
