God is not Shocked

With our ongoing pandemic I was reassured by the reality that God was not shocked by these turn of events. He sees, knows and is still working in our midst through it all.

He sees us and knows how all of this is affecting us.

He sees us and knows our fears.

He sees us and still, lovingly, is working with us, in us, and through us as we navigate this strange season.

He’s got this! He’s got the whole world in His hands!!

“You have searched me, Lord, and you know me.You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely. You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain.” (Psalm 139:1-6 NIV)
