How you can make a difference from the inside out
God does His best work IN us. We often pray about the circumstances around us, but God is always looking to help us, to change us, to mold us, to mature us from the inside out.
Like you, I’m concerned about and often pray about things around me. People, circumstances, situations and more regularly bring us to our knees in prayer.
I’ve recently been thinking more about the change God wants to make IN me. All of Ephesians 4 is good…but I wanted to give you an opportunity to let the last few verses in this chapter speak to you. It’s primarily about how God can help you on the inside.
“Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” (Ephesians 4:29-32 NIV)
