There’s something about a genuine smile that makes everyone around feel better. Maybe it comes at the end of a good joke, a heart-felt story or just seeing someone you haven’t seen in a while. But, when that smile breaks across your face…other people feel it.
Rick Hunter has one of those smiles. I see him greeting others on a Sunday morning, or talking to some guys about riding Harleys, or even the ups and downs of the last golf game and this smile just makes its way out front.
“A cheerful heart brings a smile to your face; a sad heart makes it hard to get through the day.” (Proverbs 15:13 MSG)
I think a smile, like our eyes, is a window into our soul. It’s a reflection of our heart’s condition. If you’re not a “smiler” maybe you need to feed your soul some better food. I know…… Every Day With Jesus!
Like I said this past weekend, the more years we spend with Jesus, it should be obvious…ESPECIALLY ON OUR FACE.
