Pray!

No doubt this coming weekend will be special. Our Christmas services on Friday and Saturday are going to be an amazing time for all of us as we gather to celebrate Jesus. Cookies are being baked, songs are being rehearsed, videos & media are being prepped, programs are being printed, the message is being crafted…but first: PRAY!

For those of you who call Community home, please take some time right now and pray for our Christmas services. Pray for all those being invited. Pray for all of those working behind the scenes to make sure everything brings our attention to Jesus. Pray for me and our message, a message of Good News that actually begins when people get out of their cars in the parking lot. That Good News should permeate everything we do all weekend!

“Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. Pray that I may proclaim it clearly, as I should.” (Colossians 4:2-4 NIV)
