It’s a great exchange

In our current season of restrictions we’ve all been given the gift of time in order to reflect. Well, the time is there, and whether we use it to reflect or not is up to us.

If you’re going to reflect, you might find yourself reminiscing. When you do, there will be good times and bad times you bring to your memory. Here’s a great command and challenge at the end of Ephesians 4. Before you read it, answer for yourself the following questions:

  1. Who am I still mad at for something that happened in the past?
  2. What did they do that has left such a lasting impact on my life?

Having answered those simple, but possibly painful questions, do what these verses tell us to do.

“Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” (Ephesians 4:31-32 NIV)
