Building Up: What is God Saying?
Read Psalm 34:1-3. How can you possibly worship God in ALL situations, even in the midst of suffering? What is the power in worshiping “together”?
Read Psalm 34:4-7. What are some ways God has delivered you from your fears? Why should the Lord’s goodness to us show up on our faces? What does a “radiant” face look like to you?
Read Psalm 34:8-10. How can we “taste and see that the Lord is good”? How does our “fear” of the Lord help us get closer to Him? How do God’s promises in these verses help you right now?
Read Psalm 34:11-14. Why do you think controlling our tongue is mentioned in the midst of all of this?
Read Psalm 34:15-18. God SEES your situation and HEARS your cries and prayers. How is that, all by itself, an encouragement when we’re going through difficult times? What does verse 18 say to YOU given the circumstances you’ve been in?
Living Out: How do I obey?
