Loss and Hope
Sometimes you come across special verses catching your attention in the most unlikely places. Lamentations is a book written to mourn the loss of the great city of Jerusalem.
Maybe you’ve experienced loss. Perhaps it’s the loss of a loved one, a job or even a dream. I’m praying these words give you the amazing promise of hope in the midst of your loss.
“The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. I say to myself, ‘The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!’ The Lord is good to those who depend on him, to those who search for him. So it is good to wait quietly or salvation from the Lord.” (Lamentations 3:22-26 NLT)
