Meet Nora
Nora is my youngest niece. While in San Clemente, Michelle’s brother and family were in the same condo building for a week. We got to spend some great time together. I wanted you to see this big smile, because every time I see a child light up, I think of our new Children’s Building…and think of those little faces all excited and ready to learn about Jesus!
I’ve read Psalm 127:1 so many times, I can’t count them all. But, I’m not sure I ever noticed the “If God doesn’t build the house…” being connected to God’s love for Children
“If God doesn’t build the house, the builders only build shacks. If God doesn’t guard the city, the night watchman might as well nap. It’s useless to rise early and go to bed late, and work your worried fingers to the bone. Don’t you know he enjoys giving rest to those he loves?
Don’t you see that children are God’s best gift? the fruit of the womb his generous legacy? Like a warrior’s fistful of arrows are the children of a vigorous youth.Oh, how blessed are you parents, with your quivers full of children! Your enemies don’t stand a chance against you; you’ll sweep them right off your doorstep.” (Psalm 127:1-5 MSG)
While we’ll be starting construction in a few weeks, it will take several months to build. So, will you commit to praying for it’s construction and even more importantly, will you pray for GOD to build this house where children will thrive?!?!
