One more thought on Creation

We looked at the subject of the Creation this past weekend. I didn’t have near enough time to cover it all. So here’s one more thought on the subject.

God is a very creative God. You don’t have to walk in the mountains very far to see a myriad of trees, plants and all kinds of interesting vegetation. Then there’s all the animals, bugs and more.

“God spoke: ‘Earth, green up! Grow all varieties of seed-bearing plants, every sort of fruit-bearing tree.’ And there it was. Earth produced green seed-bearing plants, all varieties, And fruit-bearing trees of all sorts. God saw that it was good. It was evening, it was morning— Day Three.” (Genesis 1:11-13 MSG)

The point? Being made in His image means that we have this creativity in our DNA. Find a way to honor your creative God by trying something new, doing the same old thing in a new way or help someone bring out that creative DNA in their own life.

The church should be an amazing place of creativity. Shouldn’t it? Shouldn’t WE?
