R.O.I.

R.O.I.

If you’re not sure what R.O.I. stands for, it is simply referred to in financial circles as the Return On Investment. When you give to God and His Kingdom’s work, do you ever ask yourself about the return on your investment?

God gives dozens of promises regarding our generosity. There is most definitely a return on our investment. Personally, I love those promises, but I’m not giving to be personally blessed. If I could get real with you on this, the real R.O.I. for me is when I see changed lives…including my own.

And here’s one more HUGE R.O.I.: When we partner with God we are guaranteed to be more connected to Him in the process because our money and our heart are connected. After all, if Jesus is in FIRST PLACE, shouldn’t my bank account reflect that reality? Hey, don’t take my word for it. Jesus said it in Matthew 6:

“Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be. … No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money.” (Matthew 6:21, 24 NLT)
