The Season of Lights

This is the time of year we jump in our cars to see the lights. It’s also the time of year we are reminded of THE LIGHT.

From the beginning of creation, our Creator said, “Let there be light.” Jesus came, as the “light of the world.” You and I, as followers of the Light…are called to be light-bearers ourselves.

So, when I saw the lights on the pier pop on…my mind was raising through all the verses about light in the Bible. This one happens to be about God…and it reminds me of how He has made us, specifically, to be attracted to His light.

“You’re a fountain of cascading light, and you open our eyes to light.” (Psalm 36:9 MSG)
