Time to Add the Good Stuff!

We are starting a new series this week at Community. It’s called “The Final Countdown” and we’ll be walking our way through Peter’s second letter. As the return of Jesus will someday happen, Peter encourages all of us to make the most of the opportunities in these crazy times.

Part of what we’ll look at this weekend is Peter’s encouragement, for those waiting for Christ’s return, to add to our faith…

“For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love.” (2 Peter 1:5-7 NIV)
