Earlier this week, Michelle and I were able to get away for a Pastors/Wives Retreat. It’s one we’ve gone to every year for the last five years, and it’s awesome. We love our time together, but we also get to connect with friends from all over the country.

For the first time in the last 12 months I got to play a round of golf. Funny thing was, I killed it! I didn’t always score like I wanted, but I actually hit the ball pretty well. However, the best part of the day was not the golf, it was hanging out with great friends and getting to know a new one.

“Friends come and friends go, but a true friend sticks by you like family.” (Proverbs 18:24 MSG)

I don’t know what you need to do to make time for your true friends…but do it! We’re looking more at the idea of what a TRUE FRIEND really is this weekend.
