What do you see?

What do you see?

When you are alone, what do you see? When you get away from the noise and the business of life, when you are able to turn off the stereo and let it all go quiet, what do you see? What do you hear?

When it’s just my Lord and I, I feel small. I know my sin. I have a sense of His majesty. At the same time, I remember His plan to adopt me “as I am.” He loved me before I knew Him and that love has never changed.

Yes, when I look for Him…and find Him…I might feel like Isaiah and say, “Woe is me, I’m a man of unclean lips.” In comparison to the Almighty I fall short (Romans 3:23).

However, that same Almighty, invites me to draw near to Him. So…I will. I hope you will too.

“Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always.”  (Psalm 105:4 NIV)
