We’re in an interesting time here in Southern California. We have Winter’s snow on the mountains and the wildflowers of Spring popping up everywhere. These flowers tell a story you can’t afford to miss when you’re in the midst of a “Winter” kind of season.
“You did it: you changed wild lament into whirling dance; You ripped off my black mourning band and decked me with wildflowers. I’m about to burst with song; I can’t keep quiet about you. God, my God, I can’t thank you enough.” (Psalm 30:11 MSG)
Even though it may not feel like God is up to something, He’s working below the surface and in the storms of our lives. Then, before we know it, we’re surrounded with wildflowers.
And when those flowers appear in our lives, it’s time to say thank you!
