Worthy?

While we’re working our way through 2 Corinthians 3-5 on the weekends right now, I used the following verse from Philippians as a launching point this past weekend.

“Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ.” (Philippians 1:27a NIV)

We all have a lot to live up to (as we strive to conduct ourselves in a manner worthy of the Gospel of Christ), but where Jesus sets the standard, He also brings His help. We don’t have to live a worthy life on our own effort. Thank you Lord!

Let this verse be a guide to you throughout your week as you make decisions, interact with others and…hopefully…shine brightly for Jesus.
