As 2016 comes to a close I want to challenge you to make an investment in what Community is doing before January 1 arrives. At the beginning of December, we asked all of you who call Community home, to pray about a special financial gift as our year comes to a close.

Here’s a few things to think about:

• 2017 is going to be a “catalyst” kind of a year for us. With the new 13,000 square foot Children’s building coming, we’re about to go to a new level of ministry!
• Our current Student Center is making a difference in young people’s lives each and every week, and is in desperate need of some improvements and remodeling.
• The vast majority of people who make a decision for Jesus do so before the age of 18. So, we are poised to do something really remarkable in the coming years.
• Our investments now will go a long way to help see significant life change happen!

One thing to consider:

• Everyone is at a different place financially, but we can all do something. I would like you to consider giving a gift at least as big as the most you spent on anyone for Christmas. Michelle and I are more than doubling what we spent on each other or our kids. 

One promise to count on:

“And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” (2 Corinthians 9:8 NIV)

• You can never go wrong investing in God’s work and helping people begin “stepping in” to a relationship with Jesus.
