Do you need a doctor?

This past weekend we launched our new series, “Be A Light.” As an introduction we looked at the party Levi threw for his friends so they could meet Jesus.

In the midst of that setting, Jesus answers the whispers and self-righteous looks of the Pharisees. His answer is not just His way of setting them straight, it is for all of us to always remember. This is mission. This is vision. This is why we’re here as a church.

“Jesus answered them, ‘It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.’” (Luke 5:31-32 NIV)
