It’s BLESSING Time!

We gave out $10,000 dollars last week! We had 100 people take $100 dollars to go and be a blessing in our Valley. The stories are already coming in. This is so amazing!!

Today, on Black Friday, while there is so much shopping going on, let’s not forget about those who may be struggling. All of us, whether we got that extra $100 or not, can be a blessing to someone else today.

Keep your eyes open throughout this season. God knows who needs special encouragement. So pray and stay alert.

“Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart.” (Colossians 4:2 NLT)

It’s Go Time!

Christmas At The Movies starts this weekend at Community!

This whole series (four weeks) is a great opportunity to invite your TOP FIVE and anyone else you can think of!!

Here are a few things you need to know about Christmas At The Movies:

1-This first week, there is no Thursday service on Thanksgiving Day. So come on Sunday at 9:00 or 10:45 am. Elementary age kids will join us this weekend!

2-Each week we’ll bring God’s Word into the conversation as we look at Christmas movies.

3-The movie/message will only be viewed IN PERSON due to copyright issues. Our online audience will be getting a Christmas message from a past series.

“Pray for us, too, that God will give us many opportunities to speak about his mysterious plan concerning Christ.” (Colossians 4:3a NLT)

It’s GRATEFUL Time!

Let’s start this Thanksgiving week with your TOP FIVE! God has placed people in your life who don’t know Him yet. He has aloud you to invest in their lives so that you can introduce them to Jesus.

Today review (or create) a list of people who you know who aren’t connected to Jesus in a meaningful way. Thank God for the opportunity you’ve been given to point them in the right direction.

Thank God for each one of them and continue to seek opportunities to invite them throughout the Christmas season.

“Live wisely among those who are not believers, and make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be gracious and attractive so that you will have the right response for everyone.” (Colossians 4:5-6 NLT)

You don’t have to wait to do this!

Thanksgiving Day is still a week away, but you don’t have to wait to be grateful. Take a couple minutes and thank God for a few things you haven’t taken the time to thank Him for recently.

These things might be simple, but we run the risk of taking them for granted if we’re not careful.

If one of the “things” on your list is a person, take a moment to call them, text them or send them a message somehow where you can simply say THANK YOU!

“Hallelujah! Thank God! Pray to him by name! Tell everyone you meet what he has done! Sing him songs, belt out hymns, translate his wonders into music! Honor his holy name with Hallelujahs, you who seek God. Live a happy life! Keep your eyes open for God, watch for his works; be alert for signs of his presence.” (Psalm 105:1-4 MSG)
