Wise or Foolish?

If you’ve never read through the book of Proverbs, you’re seriously missing something special. There is a running dialogue about those who are wise and those who are foolish.

Not surprisingly, Proverbs is filled with wisdom for everyday life, including how we handle our money.

The following verses remind us of the power and freedom of being a generous person. Look for ways today to be a generous person…the kind of person God is able to work through to be a blessing.

 “One person gives freely, yet gains even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty.

A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.

People curse the one who hoards grain, but they pray God’s blessing on the one who is willing to sell.” (Proverbs 11:24-26 NIV)
