Out of the Ordinary…

There are a few short phrases I absolutely love. Here are a couple: BUT GOD… or ONLY GOD…

Our God is able to take an ordinary moment and turn it into a life-changing experience. He can also take an ordinary person and turn them into an extraordinary vehicle for His supreme purposes.

We see this happen over and over in Scripture. Christmas is no exception!

Have you ever given much thought to the shepherds in the Christmas story? Seriously, have you ever put yourself in their shoes…or sandals?

Their night was ordinary, but when the angels showed up…everything changed. Think about it. It could have gone right back to ordinary had they ignored the message…but they didn’t. And we’re still talking about them today!
