I’ve known her as long as I can remember. She is, my mommy.
On this Mother’s Day I just had to go public with a huge THANK YOU to the lady most responsible for shaping me into the man I am today. (That’s not to be twisted into saying she’s responsible for everything I do. No, that would not be fair to her.)
Thank you mom. You have, and will always be such an amazing person. Gentle, loving, strong, compassionate, and faithful over all the years…an example worth following.

1-Jesus
In this past weekend’s lesson I shared a quote from Bob Russell in his book, When God Builds A Church. I thought I’d pass it on so you could see it one more time.
“If it is true that man’s sin has separated him from God for eternity, and if it is true that Jesus is the Son of God who came to this earth to die for sin, and if it is true that only through Christ can we have forgiveness of sin and the hope of eternal life, then the task of bringing people to Jesus Christ is the highest mission of the church.”
Now, with that in mind, who are you inviting this weekend?
Some people don’t like Mondays. Some people simply hate Mondays. Others just put up with them. Well, whatever your view, this Monday was a pretty good one for our family.
We’re going to have a son! No, Michelle is not pregnant and we’re not adopting. But, this is what happened on Monday!
It all happened at the site of their first date, a hike near Idyllwild.
Thank you Craig for being a great young man and for taking such good care of our daughter, Sam. Our prayers will continue to be for the two of you as you plan your future together. (If you didn’t catch that…we’ve already been praying!)
