Can we stop???

If we could just use our powers for good!!! As we wrap up the week, we get to the last section in Titus 3 I want us to look at. After talking about God’s kindness and love, our salvation and living that salvation out…Paul finishes with talking about how we can really blow it all.

These days, arguing on social media is a favorite pastime of so many. Some sit there just waiting for someone to say something they don’t agree with, then they hit the keyboard with a flurry of arguments…setting the world straight.

However, are we really HELPING anyone. We can give them a piece of our mind…but are we helping people find Jesus? Find hope? Find His grace and love?

Let’s not stir up more arguments…let’s be people who simply point people to Jesus!

“But avoid foolish controversies and genealogies and arguments and quarrels about the law, because these are unprofitable and useless. 10Warn a divisive person once, and then warn them a second time. After that, have nothing to do with them. 11You may be sure that such people are warped and sinful; they are self-condemned.” (Titus 3:9-11 NIV)
