Have you experienced this kind of change?

In more than one place the Bible gives us a list of sins/behaviors that keep us from the Kingdom of God. Each list is not intended to be “exhaustive” or complete, but it gives us an idea of the kinds of things that break the heart of God.

The list in First Corinthians is not intended to make us feel bad, but rather to show us how far we’ve come…if we’ve surrendered our lives to Jesus and allowed Him to change us from the inside out.

My favorite part… “And that is what some of you were.”

 “Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.” (1 Corinthians 6:9-11 NIV)
