A Big, Big House

There was a song describing Heaven back in the 90’s by Audio Adrenaline that talked about a big, big house…with lots and lots of rooms. It was a great song and we all would sing along as a family anytime it came on.

The Apostle Paul talks about Heaven too. However this time, in talking about a great building, he is actually talking about us…the CHURCH.

As you go throughout your week, I wanted you to be reminded the Church is not a place we go, but it’s us. We are the church, and miraculously enough, God’s Spirit lives in us!!!

“So now you Gentiles are no longer strangers and foreigners. You are citizens along with all of God’s holy people. You are members of God’s family. Together, we are his house, built on the foundation of the apostles and the prophets. And the cornerstone is Christ Jesus himself. We are carefully joined together in him, becoming a holy temple for the Lord. Through him you Gentiles are also being made part of this dwelling where God lives by his Spirit.” (Ephesians 2:19-22 NIV)
