Can you believe it?

In our weekend services, we’ve been focusing on a few of the key women named in the genealogy of Jesus as we lead up to Christmas. By the way, this weekend we’ll be looking at Mary, but before we get to her, here are a few other observations.

“This is the genealogy of Jesus the Messiah the son of David, the son of Abraham: Abraham was the father of Isaac, Isaac the father of Jacob, Jacob the father of Judah and his brothers,…” (Matthew 1:1-2 NIV)

The Genealogy starts with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. While each demonstrated extraordinary faith at times, they also were flawed men who had to deal with their own sin. In fact, EVERYONE in this list was a sinner. And yet…God still used them to bring about His perfect plan with His perfect Son.

God uses us as well, flawed as we are. Can you believe it?

You may feel as though you’re not good enough, or don’t know enough, or whatever…but, the truth is, GOD CAN USE YOU TOO!

He’s is not looking for PERFECTION…He’s looking for those who are AVAILABLE. Are you?
