It doesn’t get any better

It doesn’t get any better

In my daily reading this week I again came to a familiar couple of verses in the book of Galatians. These verses give a powerful reminder that it’s impossible for us to “earn” our salvation by good deeds and keeping the law. Actually it says, if that was possible, Jesus died for nothing!

These verses also remind me of what it really means to “live for Christ.” I want my whole life, not just parts of it, to be lived in a way that honors the One who gave it all for me.

As we enter another weekend, can you simply take a moment and re-surrender ALL of your life to Him. Leave nothing out. Give Him everything. After all, it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me!!!

“My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. I do not treat the grace of God as meaningless. For if keeping the law could make us right with God, then there was no need for Christ to die.” (Galatians 2:20-21 NLT)
