On Thanksgiving day, for my daily reading (Every Day With Jesus), I was in Matthew 27. It wasn’t the only chapter I read, but when I got to the crucifixion of Jesus, I thought how fitting it was.
Is there anything I’m more grateful, more thankful for? I don’t think so. With His death, he ripped that temple curtain that separated people from the presence of God. Now we have access to our God because the penalty of our sin has been paid for.
Thank you JESUS!!!
“Then Jesus shouted out again, and he released his spirit. At that moment the curtain in the sanctuary of the Temple was torn in two, from top to bottom.” (Matthew 27:50-51a NLT)
