Is this you?

Have you ever seen those scams where there’s a headline, maybe a picture, and then it leads you to click on their scam by asking you: “IS THIS YOU?”

Hopefully you never clicked on those, but it has me thinking: Are there pictures in the Bible where God sets the expectation and we get to do a little self examination?

The one I’m thinking about today is found in Hebrews 11:6. He describes faith. My question is…is he describing you?

If you have a few minutes, read all of Hebrews 11. It’s powerful…filled with examples of what faith looks like when it’s lived out in the real world. Then ask yourself…is this a description of me? What can I do to earnestly seek my God?

“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” (Hebrews 11:6 NIV)
