This is the perfect weekend for THIS!
I’m sure you’re aware that Saturday is the Fourth of July…250 years. It’s got me thinking…
This is the perfect weekend for this:
1-Come to our Thursday night service if you’re going to be out of the area through Sunday for the holiday. Dinner is at 5:30 and Church is at 6:30pm.
2-Make PRAYER a key part of your weekend. Depending on what your social media feed looks like might determine whether you like our Country or not, but this is still a great Country. No doubt, we’ve got things to work on…so it’s time to pray!
3-Be intentional with your family and friends during your hang out time. Let them know you truly care about them. Ask how you can be praying for them. Seek opportunities to have significant conversations…not just surface ones.
“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.” (1 Timothy 2:1-4 NIV)
