Why they inspire me!

It was the 32 annual Leadership Training Institute in our headquarters church in Battambang. So many good things come out of this event. Now that I’ve had a moment to process some of that I saw this time, here’s a few thoughts:

1-They are eager to learn! I never stopped amazing me that, even with very hot conditions (with humidity), they were engaged and very present in every session.

2-They are a team! They see themselves as part of something really special, which it is. They see themselves as part of something much bigger than any one of them. They thrive with the encouragement of each other.

3-Their smiles are life giving! I’ve mentioned it before, but I can’t get enough of their genuine smiles. The smiles are not because they have a lot, or because they’ve got a cushy 401K waiting for them someday. They smile because of the joy of Christ. They smile from the inside out.

Thank you God for these people in Cambodia. Thank you Community for your support and prayers!
