Where did it go?
I know at Community we looked at these verses a few weeks ago back in June, but there’s a lot to think about here.
If you’ve never done it, it’s an interesting exercise to try. Pull up your bank statement and credit card statements and look through all the things you have spent money on in the last month. It’s quite revealing. Ask yourself the following questions:
1-Where does most of my money go?
2-What does this tell me about my heart?
“Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be. … No one can serve two masters. For you will hate one and love the other; you will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and be enslaved to money.” (Matthew 6:21, 24 NLT)
